Ricky Anderson's dreams have taken him a long way. It's
not a future he would have predicted growing up in Halifax, Nova
Scotia However, he discovered he had a talent for the sweet science
that propelled him to the top of the amateur boxing world.
After winning a gold medal in the North American Championships
and two silvers in world championship competitions, he turned pro
and captured the prestigious Canadian Welter-Weight title and was
inducted to the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame.
While boxing Ricky attained a university degree in Sociology.
Later he was a Television Sports Broadcaster. Today he works as a
Drug Prevention Specialist and he's the President of Go Ricky
Motivational Services and a sought after speaker in demand year
round. He is married and the father of two sons. His passion
is helping people turn their dreams into reality.
