Marion F. Grayson
Marion F. Grayson began working with young people at the age of fifteen when she organized summer playgroups for pre-school children in her Westchester home. Not long after, in 1928, she opened a private nursery school- the first such venture in Westchester County. Since moving to Washington D.C., she has worked with youngsters of all ages at the National Child Research Center and as a consultant to numerous parent-teacher groups.
